The chip tuning is mounted between the motor and the electric bike's speed sensor as a bypass. After installation, the speed limit will be removed. The bike computer will show half of the actual speed you are traveling at and half of the range. For example, if the actual speed is 20 km/h, the bike with the installed chip will show 10 km/h on the display.

What does speedChip provide?

Installing speedChip
Simple and easy. By connecting to the motor using the appropriate plugs, you unlock the motor. The device does not directly affect the quality of work or malfunctions in the electric motor. Before installation, check that you are connecting to the correct plugs.

Legal regulations
Remember that using a speedChip must comply with traffic regulations. You use it at your own risk. Not for use on public roads, sidewalks, or bicycle paths. The manual and usage instructions are included in the original box. Additionally, remember to wear a protective helmet and have proper electric bike lighting.

Tuning modules, such as speedCHIP, cancel the speed limit. In Poland and the EU, this is 25 km/h, at which point support for the electric motor is usually limited. The tuning module cancels this limit, which means that electric motor assistance is felt above 25 km/h.

The maximum speed is not specified because it is influenced by the gear ratio, i.e., the size of the sprockets used in your drivetrain. If you want your bike to have no limits, use the speedCHIP appropriate for your motor.
